We currently offer the following types of yoga:
So what are these different types of yoga?
A dynamic type of yoga where you link breath with movement whilst cultivating a flow between postures to maintain the heat, build strength and bring a sense of moving meditation into the practice. Vinyasa Yoga can differ considerably depending on the teacher, however, all of our teachers infuse inspiration, grace and a deep relaxation by the end of each class. We aim to inspire and challenge, both physically and mentally, but always while maintaining respect for the individual student.
Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.
Kundalini yoga consists of ancient kriyas or formulated sets of asanas which were passed down through the centuries and were brought to the west by Yogi Bhajan in 1969. Each kriya or yoga set is designed to target specific issues within the body by focusing on the individual systems or muscle groups. The kriya is designed to be performed in a specific sequence to achieve a desired result. Kundalini yoga combines asanas with pranayama with mudras, mantras and body locks to create a unique and powerful experience for integrating body, mind and spirit and strengthening the nervous and glandular systems to initiate the raising of the kundalini energy. Kundalini refers to the awakening of the energy of consciousness or the serpent energy found coiled dormant in the base of the spine.

The Khalsa way is the Holistic approach to pregnancy developed by Gurmuckh Kaur Khalsa and based on the ancient teachings learned from Yoghi Bhajan. The founding principle of the Khalsa Way is ” As a Woman lives, so shall she birth” Through the pregnancy yoga , mothers learn to live more gracefully, purposely, efficiently and with peace. Thus they are more likely to experience birthing as natural and welcoming, rather than an painful expirience. Pregnancy yoga trains a woman´s mind and body for the experience of birth, practising yoga will not take away the intensity of birthing–rather, it will increase the mothers awareness of the entire pregnancy and birth experience and reminds the mother that she and she alone knows how to do this pregnancy and how to bring this baby into this world. Pregnancy Yoga stretches, tones and relaxes the mind, the emotions and the body. It helps to make more room in the mother´s body for her baby and for her own spine and organs. During those worried or emotionally “stuck” moments, pregnancy yoga class offers a time of community and reconnection, a safe place were to discharge emotions and to heal. Two important elements of Khalsa Way yoga are, Meditation and attention to the breath, as the mother deepens her breath, she deepens the connection to her baby and her inner resourcefulness - A CALM MAMA, A CALM BABY
If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, give your self and your baby the gift of learning the techniques of Khalsa Way. These wise teachings can revolutionise how you experience your body, your baby´s development, and your baby´s birth.
